Position Description
Pioneer Technical Services, Inc. is accepting applications for internship candidates that would be interested in working at our Kellogg, Idaho office location, starting in May 2023. Pioneer is looking for self-motivated individuals that have knowledge of basic engineering principles and practical application in the field. Primary responsibilities include collecting environmental samples to determine the extent of contaminants as directed by project staff, completing X-Ray Fluorescence testing, nuclear density testing and assisting construction oversight staff as needed for remediation projects within the Kellogg area. Additional duties include preparation of project reports, maintaining detailed log books, construction testing, and interfacing with contractors and the public. This position will require travel to and from project sites. Candidate will have the use of a company vehicle after arriving at office building and must have a valid driver's license.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:
Education: Candidate must be currently enrolled in a college curriculum and preferred degree area in Environmental/Civil Engineering or Environmental Sciences or related field.
